Break the bias in International arbitration
On the occasion of the International Women’s Day on 8 March 2023, THAC and Arbitral Women are taking this opportunity to co – organization the seminar entitled “Break the Bias in International Arbitration”. The seminar aims to raise awareness of gender equality and revolve around diversity in international arbitration.
Our special panel was honored by Dr. Vanina Sucharitkul (Former ArbitralWomen Director, Independant Arbitrator, CIArb Thailand Branch Chair), Ms. Emi Rowse (ArbitralWomen Member, Partner and Head of Japan Practice, Kudun & Partners, ClArb Thailand Branch Committe Member), Ms. Waree Shinsirikul (Member of Women Lawyers Association of Thailand, Partner at Chandler MHM), Ms. Dutsadee Dutsadeepanich (Partner at ABER Law Group, Secretary of CIArb Thailand Branch) and the seminar was moderated by Mr. Robert Tang (Partner at DLA Piper).
The session revolves around diversity in international arbitration, specifically the issue of unconscious bias and attendees was learning about unconscious bias from the experiences of panelists, and how to tackle this issue in the workplace to thrive in their careers and we hope to all participated are enjoy and get the new experience in this event.
