Huge Crowds Requires Additional Rooms!! THAC Organizes Seminar For New Generations of Arbitrators. Receives Keen Interest from Interested People!
Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC), led by Mr. Pasit Asawattanaporn, Managing Director of THAC, presided over the opening of the “New Generation of Arbitrators” seminar. The objective of the proceedings was to raise awareness of the arbitration process and build it towards international standards, as well as, stress the importance of those who were interested in becoming an arbitrator. The event was held at the Thailand Arbitration Center located on the 26th Floor of the Bhiraj Tower Building (EmQuartier) on 16 March, 2021.
The “New Generation of Arbitrators” seminar was recognized and chaired by experts in the field of arbitration, such as Prof. Dr. Tawatchai Suwanwich and Mr. Rattakarn Boonnua, in providing knowledge on the proper arbitration process. It also included guidelines for proceeding and raising the standards of arbitration awards, as well as, promote roles, increase efficiencies, and stressed the significance of designated persons who will assume the role of arbitrators, especially in drafting awards to bind the concerned parties and recommend guidelines for conducting arbitration proceedings to comply with THAC regulations. The seminar was conducted through lectures and simplified examples to enable participants to get a clear picture and foster a deep understanding.
The event was warmly received by an overwhelming number of people which required the opening of additional space to accommodate the attendees. In addition, there was opportunities for participants to get to know and build a good relationship with each other, resulting in a cordial atmosphere, full of smiles all around, and fun Q&A sessions to exchange ideas.
