THAC’s Got Impressed !!! M Sharing Event to Enhance the Potential of Mediators is Trending
On August 7, 2020, the Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC) organized a forum to share views of mediators at the Ploenchit-Chidlom room, the THAC, 26th Floor, Bhiraj Tower Building, under the theme “Lawyer’s Roles in Mediation”. THAC was honored by Tassanai Chaiyakwaeng, a representative of the President of the Lawyers Council of Thailand, Vice President of Foreign Affairs of the Lawyers Council, and an arbitrator of the THAC, to be a host and representative of the Lawyers Council for this exchange of opinions.
The THAC’s mediators joined this forum to exchange ideas, experiences, perspectives, as well as ways to develop the roles of attorneys in resolving disputes, a matter of obstacles in methodology such as opportunities and disclosure in mediation. In addition, there was an exchange of views on the role of lawyers, which were summarized in two areas: 1. Lawyers in mediation and 2. Lawyers on behalf of the parties. In addition, Tassanai Chaiyakwaeng encouraged the lawyers to know about mediation and mediation more thoroughly. This forum, in addition to exchanging ideas, experiences and perspectives, and building a good relationship, was also an exchange of experiences for the development of the mediators and the THAC in conducting the dispute resolution process through the experiences of the mediators participating in this event, as well as promoting the THAC to develop its alternative dispute resolutions.
