Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC) Visits Port Authority of Thailand (PAT) to Exchange Views on the Development of Arbitration
On November 20, 2024, a delegation from the Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC), led by Mr. Suriyapong Tubtimtae, Managing Director of the Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC), along with Ms. Machimdhorn Khampiranont, Deputy Managing Director of the Thailand Arbitration Center, and Mr. Rajsarut Janchote, Director of Arbitration & Mediation Department, visited the Port Authority of Thailand (PAT). They were warmly welcomed by Mr. Kriengkrai Chaisiriwongsuk, Director General of PAT, and Acting Sub Lt. Rattakorn Kiewpaisarn, Deputy Director of PAT, Finance and Strategy Department.
The purpose of the meeting was to foster collaboration in the development and promotion of arbitration, an essential tool for resolving business and legal disputes. During the meeting, the Thailand Arbitration Center shared its approach and experiences in conducting arbitration, aiming to enhance mutual understanding and cooperation in the future. The meeting was held at Conference Room 1701, PAT’s office building, with the expectation of improving the use of arbitration in managing disputes more effectively.
