
Reinforcing the greatness and majesty! THAC organizes “International Alternative Dispute Resolution Week” aimed at raising the level of arbitration in Thailand to the international level.

On November 6, 2023, the Thai Arbitration Centre (THAC) was honored by Mr.Somboon Muangklam, Advisor to the Minister of Justice. Chaired the opening ceremony of the international academic seminar. “International Alternative Dispute Resolution Week (Thailand ADR Week 2023)” along with Ms. Machimdhorn Khampiranont, Acting Director of the Arbitration Centre. This ADR Week event is being held for the 5th time with the aim of exchanging opinions on academic knowledge. and professionalism in alternative dispute resolution methods including arbitration conciliation Including other guidelines as well as expanding the network of such processes to international acceptance.
The seminar showed awareness in driving the field of alternative dispute resolution in Thailand. That aims to create standards at the international level, with more than 10 international organizations and dispute resolution centers collaborating with THAC, both at the Asian and global levels. Whether it is the Hong Kong International Arbitration Center (HKIAC), Shiang Hai International Arbitration Center (SHIAC), Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) and Beihai Asia International Arbitration Center (BAIAC), etc., all parties have confidence in Thailand’s arbitration process. Ready to cooperate and develop and promote access to the justice process in Thailand and abroad. along with promoting the country’s image to be widely known in the international arbitration circles
“How ADR can assist world’s economy, energy and environmental crisis” is the main topic of this discussion. Many interesting issues regarding alternative dispute resolution processes were discussed, such as “Al in ADR: Opportunities and Challenges” and “Renewable Energy Arbitration: Navigating Regulatory,Technical and Environment Challenges” with various lecture topics being attended by well-known speakers who are full of experience and ability.
In addition, topics in the discussion include guidelines. and formats for operations as well as campaigning for environmentally friendly arbitration proceedings. It was seriously initiated in 2019 under the “Green Pledge” campaign. Make the trial a form of arbitration.
