THAC announced “Siwat Jumlongkul”, first arbitration ambassador of Thailand.
Thailand arbitration center has confirmed Siwat Jumlongkul (Mark) as the first arbitration ambassador of Thailand in 2022. This aims to create awareness and create a good image for alternative dispute resolution as well as raise the standard of alternative dispute resolution in Thailand to the international level.
Dr. Pasit Asawawattanaporn, managing director of THAC remarks about the importance of alternative dispute resolution processes as one of the problems of society and entrepreneurs in Thailand has a lack of knowledge and understanding to solve problems with arbitration. mediation and often resort to court proceedings to settle disputes, which can cost time, money, and break the relationship as well.
Therefore, Thailand arbitration center has foreseen the problem and appointed Siwat Jumlongkul, on behalf of the THAC to push and provide society with knowledge and understanding of alternative dispute resolution. with the aim of solving the problem without going through the courts and to maintain a relationship It also allows all parties to continue their lives and businesses together in the future.
In addition, Dr. Pasit Asawawattanaporn also handed the arbitration ambassador symbol to Mr. Siwat Jumlongkul, along with the role as an arbitration ambassador to create awareness among the teenage people and general entrepreneurs about alternative dispute resolution and the services of THAC further.
