THAC has signed a (MoU) with BAIAC for the first step initiation of numerous features of cooperation.
On 30 November 2021, Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC) led by Mr. Pasit Asawawattanaporn, Managing Director signed an MoU with Professor Steve Ngo president of Beihai Asia International Arbitration Centre (BAIAC). The goal of this collaboration to marks an initiation of our numerous features of cooperation, to promote the Alternative Dispute Resolution as a means of dispute settlement together.
Mr. Pasit Asawawattanaporn revealed that the high success of co-organized the international ADR Webinar Series 2021 “Getting appointed as an arbitrator – Challenges and opportunities” has received very positive feedback. Therefore, THAC foreseen that both sides can continue an achievement more and wider as the goal that Mr. Pasit expected as well as to promote the Alternative Resolution (ADR) to be known and more widespread in many professional circles.
Moreover, THAC and the Beihai Asia International Arbitration Center (BAIAC) is an arbitral centre incorporated in Singapore by Beihai Arbitration Commission which both sides also trusted to serve the region for dispute arising from the Belt and Road Initiative, Asia trade cooperation, and investment between Chinese and ASEAN parties.
Thus, the cooperation will not only be for goodwill and friendship together but to develop Alternative Disputes Resolution to accommodate if disputes arise from international investment and trade between Chinese and ASEAN parties.
