Thai Cosmetic Cluster Trade Association delighted!! THAC signed MOU and organized a seminar. This is beneficial than expected.
On 17 December 2020, the Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC), led by Mr. Pasit Asawawattanaporn, Managing Director of THAC, signed MOU with the President and board of directors from the Thai Cosmetic Cluster Trade Association. The MOU aimed to support and promote the use of mediation and arbitration in the cosmetic industry’s disputes. The signing ceremony was held at Thailand Arbitration Center, 26th floor, Bhiraj Tower (EmQuatier).

President of the Thai Cosmetic Cluster Trade Association, Ms. Lucksupa Prapawit, and her team visited the Center on 10 November 2020 to discuss the collaboration program in Alternative Dispute Resolution, an arbitration proceeding, and proper guidance and understanding of ADR. After the Association realized that the information provided by THAC is highly beneficial for the cosmetic industry, the Association decide to sign MOU with THAC to promote to the general public and the Association’s members of the benefits and advantages of mediation and arbitration as helping tools to conduct business smoothly and as a prevention for disputes.
In this regard, the Association requested a collaboration with THAC to organize a seminar to give guidance to the Association’s members. The seminar focused on the basic principle of mediation and arbitration, provided by highly skilled professionals: from THAC, such as Mr. Tanapat Mahapanitkul, Assistant Director of Strategy and Product Development; Ms. Rungtawan Tiprod, Client Management Officer; and from the cosmetic industry, Mr. Supat Laorawat, Managing Director of SKIN TEC. The speakers also offered guidance on drafting techniques and legal terms in commercial contracts to avoid potential conflicts. The seminar received great attention from the Association’s members. With sessions for Q&A and exchanging of case studies, the atmosphere was charged with excitement
