Thai Hire – Purchase Association meet THAC for found a solution on disputes about automotive industry
On November 18 at 3:30 p.m., the Thai Arbitration Institute (THAC) welcomed Khun Boonna Chongthinsuwan, Manager of Thai Hire-Purchase Association, along with Ms. Chananthita Thamwadee, Legal Sub-Committee and Director of Internal Operations Supervision and Control Department, Kasikorn Leasing Company Limited to consult and discuss the possibility of dispute resolution through the use of the services of the Institute. and guidelines for signing the MoU together in the future.
During the visit, Mr. Pasit Asawawattanaporn, Managing Director of Thailand Arbitration Center, introduced and main information about THAC to support customers about alternative dispute resolution approaches. which has an internationally recognized conflict resolution process and covers all issues of dispute including details pertaining to deployment to eliminate case issues in terms of leasing cars, motorcycles through the services of an arbitration institution.
In this regard, Mr. Boonna and the team clarified that in the past 2-3 years, there has been a huge increase in disputes related to the automotive industry. Each problem has different details and it took a long time to find a conclusion. Sometimes it can end with a broken relationship for both parties. Therefore, the use of the services of Thailand Arbitration Center not only saves time in dispute resolution but also includes maintaining a relationship and the interests of both parties as well.
