Thailand Arbitration Center developed the first edition of the Mediation training course to train mediators with international standards.
The Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC) together with the Hong Kong Mediation Center (HKMC) organized the first edition of the Dispute Resolution training course.
On 19th-23rd January 2015, 25 selected candidates were admitted to participate in the first edition of the mediation training course brought directly from the experience of the Hong Kong Mediation Center. The class was composed of people from different background, such as professors, journalists, diplomats, doctors, nurses, civil servants and lawyers.
After the training, the candidates will be registered as the conciliation of the Arbitration Institute. The training course, in English, is taught by Mr Francis Law, President of HKMC, and by 5 assistants with over 10 years experience in dispute resolution, both national and international. The course also included practical exercises for the participants.
