THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE THAILAND ARBITRATION CENTER (THAC)
Summary of the meeting with the Executive Committee of the Thailand Center of ADR for Sport (TCAS) No. 2/2021
On 22nd July 2021, the Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC), represented by Dr Pasit Asawawattanaporn, Managing Director of the THAC, held a meeting via Zoom with the Executive Committee of the Thailand Center of ADR for Sport (TCAS) No. 2/21. The meeting was presided by Mr Satya Arunthari who is a representative of the Olympic Committee of Thailand, who also temporarily replaced Mr Tirachai Wuttitha for the meeting.
During the meeting, the Committee discussed the operation of the TCAS, the issuance of certifications and related documents. The latter includes the appointment and regulations of the TCAS Executive Committee. Moreover, an additional director was appointed due to the restructuring of the relevant departments. Lastly, the Committee approved guidelines for the panel of arbitrators, training courses for sports dispute settlement, the regulations on arbitration and mediation, and a section in the Arbitration guidelines for the operation of the TCAS.
