The Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC) organized an event to share experiences and views of arbitration and make comparison with ICC arbitration process, to gain liability and become a leading arbitration center.
On Friday, 20th March 2020, the Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC) organized a seminar titled “Raising the level of Thai arbitration compared with ICC”. Professor Suchart Thammapitakkun, THAC Arbitrator, gave an opening speech. This seminar aims to share views on arbitration and compare THAC process with the ICC process to improve the quality and efficiency of the proceeding. The 5 key points of this seminar are: 1. Personnel is an essential part of the arbitration process. It must be expert, neutral, efficient, and reliable. 2. The time is one of the essences of the arbitration process. Accordingly, working with a fast, clear and effective method facilitates achieving goals. 3. To improving arbitration knowledge and sharing of relevant information with an efficient and fast translation of arbitration-related articles, and transcription of international arbitration conferences, seminars and meetings. 4. To further establish the image and reputation of the Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC) as a neutral and independent organization, providing alternative dispute resolution services in an efficient, fair and decisive way. 5. To learn from other arbitration centers, articles and, researches to improve knowledge and, awareness of arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution services.
