The Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC) participated in the 124th anniversary of the Ministry of Justice’s foundation
On 25th March 2015, the Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC) participated in the celebration of the 124th anniversary Ministry of Justice’s foundation. Miss Ampha Wanitchatchawan, THAC Deputy Director, represented THAC during the event.
The opening ceremony for celebrating the foundation of the Ministry of Justice and its founder, King Chulalongkorn (Rama 5) was officiated by Mr Wissanu Kreangam, Deputy Prime Minister, and General Paiboon Khumchaya, Minister of Justice and executive of the Ministry of Justice.
The event included also a forum titled “Thai Justice Forum 2015” where the topic “modify, change, create and fill gaps to build a safe society” was discussed. There were five core points of the Forum:
1. Prevention and suppression of corruption in public administration
2. Drug prevention and suppression of drugs
3. Development of legislation offender’s behaviour in the media field
4. Reducing inequality and creating equality in access to justice
5. Prevention and suppression of human trafficking and illegal labour.
