Weerawong Invites the Thailand Arbitration Center to Tutoring in Alternative Dispute Resolution
On August 5, 2020, Weerawong, Chinnawat & Partners Company Limited (Weerawong C&P), one of Thailand’s top law firms, invited the Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC) to organize a lecture, promote and build knowledge and understanding about Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), and also provide knowledge about the arbitration and mediation, including introducing services of the THAC to Weerawong, Chinnawat and Partners Co., Ltd.
The event was honored by Dr. Pasit Asawawattanaporn, a specialized public law advisor and Ms. Leela Gedkhuntod, a legal counsel of the THAC, to participate in the lecture on Arbitration and Mediation, which attracted a lot of attention from the staff of Weerawong, Chinnavat and Partners Co., Ltd. It was open for asking and answering questions about the arbitration process, including the operating process of the arbitral process and the drafting of the arbitration contract, etc.
THAC hopes that by educating the Weerawong C&P law firm about arbitration and mediation disputes, it will help to promote Thailand with ADR friendly jurisdiction as well as raising awareness about ADR and the service of THAC to be more recognized, whether in public or private sectors, law firms, including the general public.
